The Rome Beach House — the Foundation's residency home, Italian coast
Beginning this summer, the Foundation invites two artists and two writers to spend three weeks at a private house on the Italian coast — free from the pressures of everyday life, with no obligations other than the work itself.
The stone terrace, the Mediterranean light, the particular quality of silence there — these are not incidental. They become part of the creative process. Residents arrive as individuals and leave, almost always, as something more: a small, lasting community of people who made something in the same place at the same time.
Housing, studio space, and a modest stipend are provided. Residents are selected for artistic merit, professional need, and the potential for meaningful development.

For artists in urgent need
The Emergency Relief Fund provides direct financial assistance to artists and writers facing acute hardship — housing insecurity, medical emergencies, studio loss, or sudden income collapse. Applications are assessed quickly, with minimal bureaucracy and a genuine commitment to the dignity of the person asking.
The Fund exists because both founders have been in that position themselves. They know what it costs to ask, and they know what it means to be heard.
